Serve

[‘surv] (v.) to render assistance; be of use; help.

Striving to be like Jesus, believers must have the opportunity to SERVE in a ministry through the local church. God has created each person unique, and with different gifts and abilities. No two people are exactly the same. When someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they are given a spiritual gift(s) by God. This gift is intended to be exercised while serving within the body of believers. We want to help you discover what that gift is and provide opportunities for you to serve the Lord by serving others.

You can start this process by talking to one of our Pastor’s or calling our Pastoral Care office. If you are interested in finding out more about the opportunities to serve, you can check out the PLACE Ministry website. To help you know best where you will fit, there are PLACE Ministry seminars offered at different times. This seminar covers such topics as your personality, your skills and abilities, your passions, and even your life experience. God uses all of these when calling us to join Him in ministering to the church.
