The Senior Adult Ministry of Green Street is under the leadership of Pastor Frank Hensley. The foundation of this ministry is the weekly Connection Classes (Small Group Bible Study) on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. comprised of men’s, women’s and couple’s classes for all ages.

We also have numerous ministry teams who faithfully visit shut-in adults each week. These individuals provide a wonderful ministry to homebound members and others in the community. If you know an adult who is confined to their home and are not members of a church, please call Green Street Baptist Church and leave a message for Pastor Frank Hensley at 336. 841.4334.

Sunshine Fellowship Club

The monthly Sunshine Fellowship Club provides an opportunity for fellowship, entertainment, and instruction. It meets in the church Fellowship Hall on the Thursday after the second Sunday of each month and is open to all adults over age 60. The program begins at 11:00 a.m., and the luncheon begins at 12:00 Noon. The group also has an activities committee which plans trips, special events, and ministry opportunities. Saints Alive

Saints Alive is the name of our Senior Adult Choir. This active group of men and women rehearse every Thursday morning at 10. They are frequently invited to sing in nursing homes to bring joy and encouragement to the residents.
