Preschool Ministry

We believe that the parents have the primary responsibility for the spiritual nurturing of their children and that it is the responsibility of the church to assist them in this task.  Our policies have been developed to strengthen and support the ministry and service we offer to our preschoolers and their families.

The safety and well-being of your child is a primary concern for us at Green Street Baptist Church. You can help partner with us in this task by reading these policies carefully and following the guidelines that have been established. For the sake of our preschoolers, your cooperation is appreciated in these important matters.

Bible Teaching For Kids: Babies-Twos

The Big Idea:  Family members are kind to one another. 

The Bible Story:  Abram Was Kind 

Genesis 13:1-12,14-18 Babies: Be kind. Ephesians 4:32

Bible Phrase:

1s & 2s: Be kind to everyone. Galatians 6:10

Connecting Points this week:
During a meal, watch for ways your family members are being kind. Thank them for those kind actions. Comment that your family members can be kind to one another and do what the Bible says to do. Being kind shows love.

Bible Teaching For Kids Threes- Pre-K’s

The Big Idea: I can get along with my family.

The Bible Story: Abram Solved a Problem Genesis 13:1-12,14-18

Bible Verse: Work together happily. Ephesians 6:7 Talk about the Bible story. Discuss how Abram and Lot solved their problem. Plan a project for the family to do together (wash the cars, clean the yard). Talk about specific jobs that each family member could do to help. Find Ephesians 6:7 with your child. Say the Bible verse. This week watch for times each family member is working happily with others.
