TURN IT UP: CRANK UP THE VOLUME OF GOD’S STORY IN YOUR LIFE

Out of all the stories in the world, only one is timeless. It’s the story of our big God who stops at nothing to have a relationship with us! This summer we’ll take a journey through God’s story and see how people in the Bible cranked up the volume of God in their lives. We’ll also see how we can do the same in our own.

Prepare to watch amazing things happen as our kids come closer to God than ever before. You’ll see lives changed as kids tour some of the world’s most marvelous natural wonders and explore God’s awesome power as they learn to trust and recognize Him in their everyday lives. We’ll never be who we are designed to be until we learn how to plug into God’s power, grace and love. When we learn that, our lives become Zapped.
This summer each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm beginning June 13th we’ll take a look at how we can all be zapped by God’s love. When we are zapped it changes the way we think, the way we treat others, the choices we make. We’re going to journey with Peter and see how he was zapped throughout his life. Here is a list of the stories that we’ll be talking about:
Calling of Peter (Luke 5:1-11)
Peter Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-34)
Peter is the Rock (Matthew 16:13-28)
Peter’s Denial and Restoration (Mark 14:66-72, Luke 22:54-62)

Summer Wrap-Up
Join us on Saturday, August 25th for the All Pro Dad Simulcast!
This unique event was created with fathers of elementary-aged children in mind. Kids will be guided through age-appropriate football drills designed for fathers to encourage and challenge their children. Since 2002, the All Pro Dad Father & Kids Experience has been held 60 times in 21 different NFL, MLB, and NCAA markets. The All Pro Dad Simulcast is your opportunity to host this event in your church. LifeWay and the All Pro Dad team will resource you with the fundamental needs and training to implement this event.
In addition to the resources that will be available, a program featuring Tony Dungy, NFL alumni, popular Christian artists and other notable sports-related personalities will come together to speak to fathers and kids. From beginning to end, the overall All Pro Dad Simulcast will include nearly 120 minutes of programming.
1:00pm EST – Pre-Roll Begins
1:30-3:30pm EST – Simulcast
A Tentative Schedule is as follows:
20 min – High Energy Opener
45 min – Drill Stations appropriate indoors or outdoors
30 min – Program with Christian artists, NFL athletes and other notable believers
20 min – Coach Tony Dungy delivers a message for Father’s and Kid’s
