Values/Beliefs

PURPOSE
Our purpose is to glorify God.  “to Him be the glory in the church…” (Ephesians 3:21a, NASB95)

CORE VALUES
Worship: We believe that it is important for every person to faithfully participate in corporate worship.

Connect: We believe that every person needs to connect with other Christians in small group Bible study.

Serve: We believe that every person should serve in a ministry through the local church.

Share: We believe that every person should share in the vision and mission of the local church as it seeks to fulfill God’s purpose for His church.

MISSION
Our mission is to reach people with the Gospel and to equip them to become mature followers of Jesus Christ.

VISION
The vision of Green Street Baptist Church is

- To be a healthy church. A healthy church is where members experience meaningful worship, connect in small groups, serve in ministry, and share in the mission of the church.

- To extend His influence and our presence into the Triad.

- To expand the kingdom of God throughout the world.

CORE BELIEFS
We believe the Bible, God’s Word, is the final authority for faith and practice.

While Green Street’s methodology may change there are some things that are non-negotiable:
